Day Theme: Something that is about to disappear soon

Borderlines between countries

These foreign citizens were celebrating something (Independence day, I guess). They did this in Barcelona downtown. I am sure that borderlines between countries will dissapear very soon and we will be citizens of the world. Check the list of cities below that have a day theme like mine.

Interesting thought about the absence of borders. Glad to be the first blogger to visit today!

May you be right about a world without borders, but I'm afraid you're being very optimistic. Europe isn't all that strong at the moment. I'm happy to think that what has been done won't be undone and the Euro zone will remain such. I love the feel of the European community.

World without borders. What an interesting concept.

These people are Hungarians:) At least the flag is the Hungarian flag in the man's hand.

It was Hungary's 5oth anniversary. There was a riot a the celebrations in Budapest in which Spain's king was injured, if I read it right. Someone could probably tell us more.

Kim..nobody from the invited foreigner delegations got injured on the 50th anniversary of the revolution. At least I didnt hear about it...
There were really rioters on the streets but police kept them away from delegations.

I love your sentiment. But I fear I see more prejudice and fear and drawing up of bridges. May you be right!

They don't look very excited about their cause!

Yeah, well, a world without borders is not exactly for tomorrow...

Valery, I am amazed by the fact that you can run 2 DP at the same time on two diffrent continents!

I suspect there will always be boarders just more and more people crossing them.

Well done, a great idea for the theme. Solidarity!

No borders. Utopia? Maybe. But a cherished dream. It is so ackward, if you come to think of it. One step here I am in Spain one step there somewhere else. Another whim of man in his fight against himself. Pretencious and absurd. Un saludo Valery.
